Stress

The basis of this drawing consists of two faces.

The first face is made out of eyes (both rotated), the nose has the shape of a broken heart (with a screw screwed in) that actually consists of two faces that want to kiss each other (the inner desire to improve). Under the eyes there are large double rings (indicates lack of sleep). The nostrils, which symbolize the lack of breath a stressed person experiences, are drawn large.

Within the mouth a second face can be seen.

The second face has glasses with two broken lenses, which stands for the fragile, chaotic mental inner state of the person.

We see two hands that surround the face also form the letter H, which stands for the first letter of the word HELP. Beneath the small face is an open mouth, which also contains the letter H, representing the increased need for emergency help.

On the left what appears to be a watch can be seen. It is in fact it is a sphygmomanometer. The clock is pointing at a quarter to nine, which is actually a blood pressure of 12 / 9. This changes into 20 (two connected roman letters (X) symbol for ten) / 9. Underneath the two Xs are two faces, connected by a spring, are hanging representing a heartbeat. Blood pressure twenty weighs heavily on the inner state of the person, represented by the two hanging weights. In the middle, the screw with the screwdriver symbolizes the stabbing pains in the heart region of stressed people.

The eyes on half ten stand for the sick feeling as a result of the STRESS.

On the right we see a train of Zs and musical notes. This section refers back to the 30% chance that we have to create a constant ringing in the ears (Zombism) Zombism refers to  inner ear infections that cause tinnitus. This inflammation can destroy a part of the inner ear nerves where the balance system is located. This can lead to a situation which can never be recovered and can also not be cured. It remains an ongoing problem. Hence the musical notes.

At the top we have a spiral that represents the rotations caused by the effects of elevated blood pressure and variations during the day.

The hair of the person contains a hidden image of the Grim Reaper. If you look closely you can see him with his sythe. He is connected to the center of the spiral which stands for our brains.

STRESS   KILLS.
