Seizoenen: De Zomer

(Seasons: Summer)

As part of the seasons series, ‘Summer’ represents the sun, beaches and freedom.

The lighthouse on the right of the drawing represents the summer sun and illuminates a boat; in its shadow a cap is formed. The glasses on the boat represent the strong summer sun and the seagulls that circle the boat symbolise the fleeting freedom of a summer vacation.
