Daniel Lefèvre is a Belgian artist, currently living and working in São Paulo, Brazil. As part of the seasons series, ‘Summer’ represents the sun, beaches and freedom.
The lighthouse on the right of the drawing represents the summer sun and illuminates a boat; in its shadow a cap is formed. The glasses on the boat represent the strong summer sun and the seagulls that circle the boat symbolise the fleeting freedom of a summer vacation.
